Now I'm searching ebay for a shade to go with it.   Sorry I've not been around much, things on the house are progressing, we've cleaned out all but one of the bedrooms now, and once all of the rooms are accessible the real work can begin.  I've already begun getting bids, and the first company I called is the same one that did the remodel on the house in 1972.   I looked up the building permit online and then googled the name of the builder.  Hell, if they're still in business 40 years later then they must be doing something right.

my love/hate of ebay part deux

Perfection.  So tempted by these but I'm trying to curtail buying the little stuff until I do some of the larger jobs the house needs.  Like a complete electrical and plumbing upgrade.  Someone else needs to give these a loving home.

How awesome is this lamp?  I love the red shades. What I do not love is the $600 price tag.  I look at some of the prices I see on ebay and wonder if the owner actually wants to sell the item, or if they're drunk hahaha.
